Welcome to The Unity Nursery

At The Unity Nursery we believe that our children no matter of their race, religion, cultural or national origin, or gender are unique individuals and we aim to cater for all requirements. We are OFSTED registered for 28 children.

Partners in education

The nursery team are committed to offering a welcoming, caring and stimulating environment for all children and we work towards curriculum guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage providing educational activities in each area of learning. The Unity Nursery strongly believes that parents are the first educators of their children and we will always work in partnership with them.

A healthy diet

We provide vegetarian and halal snacks for our children which are varied and nutritional, and also continuous access to fresh filtered drinking water and milk, as we believe that a healthy balanced diet for young children is extremely important.

Serving the community

We aim to cater for Eastwood and surrounding areas for children aged 3 – 5 years. We have a central location close to the town centre with bilingual, qualified staff. The Unity Nursery is a multicultural nursery open from 8:45am to 3:45pm during school term time, offering morning and afternoon funded sessions.

On Friday 21st October we will be raising money for Children In Need. For this event we request all parents/carers to send their children in fancy dress/traditional clothing/pyjamas or something spotty. Staff will also be taking part.

We would be grateful if you could donate as much or as little as possible. Sponsorship forms will be distributed this week, so you can get your family and friends involved. Forms and sponsor money needs to be handed to nursery staff by 21st October. If you require more information please speak to a member of staff.
